Three places enquiries get lost
1. People are not reaching the site
If you already have analytics, check whether relevant service pages receive visitors. In Search Console, distinguish search impressions from clicks. A quiet inbox alone does not establish how many people visited or why they did not contact you.
If a page seems absent from search, start with indexing versus ranking. Do not assume a penalty or buy a recovery service without evidence.
2. The service does not match the visitor’s need
Read the page as someone with a specific job to arrange. Is the actual service obvious? Is the real service area stated? Does the page explain relevant limits, such as whether emergency call-outs are offered? Clear information helps visitors judge fit; it is not a promise of higher rankings.
3. The contact path does not work
On a phone, can you find the contact link and use the form? With the business’s permission, send a clearly labelled test enquiry, confirm it arrives and check how replies are handled. Avoid sending fake customer enquiries or repeated tests.
Your five-minute owner worksheet
Tick what you have actually checked. These ticks stay on this page only; they are not submitted or scored.
What a five-page review can tell you
A scoped review can record specific page observations, explain a justified change and give you a way to test it. Without wider data, it cannot establish total demand, every conversion problem or the cause of a ranking change. The £149 pack does not include Maps management, analytics setup or implementation.
When this pack is a poor fit
Skip the pack if you need immediate leads, a developer to make every change, urgent migration recovery or a definitive penalty investigation. If you have nobody to implement recommendations, arrange that first. Compare scope and cost before choosing a review.
Record changes, then measure carefully
Write down the affected page, what changed and when. Keep a baseline where data exists. A working contact form is a verifiable technical result; an increase in enquiries is not automatically caused by that fix. Avoid changing many things at once if you want to understand what happened.
